What is Fairness 4?

Fairness 4 is a philosophy designed to help us understand our conditioning and what shaped us before deciding what we shape next. It challenges us to question our upbringing, acknowledge conflict, and consider our impacts on each other, our planet, and our future.

Fairness 4 doesn't tell us what to think.

It helps us ask better questions so we can choose more consciously.

WE WERE TAUGHT A CONCEPT OF FAIRNESS,  BUT DID IT INCLUDE HOW TO BE FAIR TO OURSELVES AND OTHERS?

Before we can find FAIRNESS 4 our PEOPLE, our PLANET, and our FUTURE, we must first find  FAIRNESS 4 OURSELVES.

How we think.

How we feel.

How we treat ourselves.

How we treat others.

And how honestly we are willing to look at who we have become.

Fairness begins within.

It all starts here.

Most of us are never taught how to be fair.

We are taught many rules, including sharing, manners, justice, and right and wrong, but rarely how to consciously find a fair balance when there is truth on both sides.

We don't learn our concept of fairness from only one place.

We inherit thousands of experiences that teach us what fairness could be, but do you know what real fairness is?

EVERY JOURNEY BEGINS WITH A QUESTION.

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO FIND FAIRNESS FOR?

Yourself?

Your relationships?

Your family?

Our people?

Our planet?

Our future?

Maybe fairness doesn't begin out there...?

Maybe it begins within ourselves?

ASKING SOMETHING DIFFERENT.

WHAT IF WE'VE BEEN ASKING THE WRONG QUESTIONS?

Why isn't life fair?

Why did this happen to me?

Why don't people understand?

Why can't we all agree?

Why doesn't someone fix this?

Why is the world so divided?

Fairness 4 asks something different:

What would fairness ask me to consider?

HOW MUCH OF YOU  DID YOU CHOOSE?

FAIRNESS DOES NOT START OUTSIDE , IT STARTS WITHIN.

Before we can find fairness for our relationships, communities, planet, or future, we need to understand that the person making all of those choices is yourself.

We weren't born with all the beliefs we carry today, we learn them over time...

Love

Fear

Belonging

Success

Failure

Family

Identity

Money

Conflict

Right

Wrong

even our concept of what is Fair.

Some beliefs come from experience.

Some from family,

Some from culture,

Some help us survive,

but some may no longer serve us.

Fairness 4 doesn't ask you to reject your conditioning, it asks you to see it.

You can't consciously choose what you haven't learned to recognize.

HOW FAIRNESS 4 WORKS

We have created a unique set of tools to help you on your journey to find fairness, including a guidebook,  self reflective flash cards, and an interactive art installation where Fairness is demonstrated using virtual reality

Three Tools,  One Journey.

7 BOXES 14 GENERATIONS 1 COMPASS

This is the journey to the heart of Fairness 4.

7 BOXES

Where we explore:

Discover the places that shaped what fairness means to you.

14 GENERATIONS

How we travel:

Explore the connection between seven versions of yourself looking back in time, and seven looking forward.

1 COMPASS

How we navigate:

Find direction when the answers aren’t clear.

WHERE DID YOU LEARN TO BE YOU ?

OUR 7 BOXES

The Seven boxes of Fairness 4 invite us to explore the experiences and questions that helped shape who we are today.

BOX 1        Love

Safety & Attachment

BOX 2       Self vs. Other

Programming & Boundaries

BOX 3       Family

Roots & Belonging

BOX 4       Belonging

Group Identity & Acceptance

BOX 5       Identity

Ego & Independence

BOX 6       Self

Reality & Self-Honor

BOX 7      Death

Perspective, Release & Rebirth

Each box represents a different version of ourselves, from a different time, with different sets of experiences.

Each one represents a different piece of the person  we are today.

WHAT SHAPED ME?

THE FIRST 7 GENERATIONS

We begin by traveling backward.

Not through 7 generations of ancestors, through seven generations of ourselves, and our conditioning.

The child we were.

The person learning to belong.

The person trying to become independent.

The person discovering who they thought they needed to be.

Questions we carry for a lifetime:

What shaped me?

What did I inherit?

What did I experience?

What am I still carrying?

What have I never questioned?

Where does conflict still live?

What do I need Fairness 4?

Then, we reach the 7th box.

DEATH

Everything we've spent a lifetime defending eventually meets at the same destination.

Our titles,

Possessions,

Arguments,

Successes,

Failures,

Egos,

Certainties,

and Stories.

Death offers something extraordinary:

Perspective

Fairness 4 asks you to stand there for a moment, reflect, consider the life that shaped you...and then,

TURN AROUND.

WHAT AM I SHAPING?

THE NEXT  7 GENERATIONS

We travel through the same 7 boxes again, but something has changed,
our direction.

The first journey asks:
What shaped me?

The second asks:

What am I choosing to shape?

What will I continue?

What will I change?

What deserves to be carried forward?

What should end with me?

What will my children inherit?

7 generations backward,

7 generations forward,

and between them lies the only generation where anything can actually change. THIS ONE.

FAIRNESS CAN ONLY HAPPEN

IN THIS PRESENT MOMENT.

THE COMPASS DOESN'T GIVE YOU ANSWERS,

IT HELPS YOU ASK BETTER QUESTIONS.

FAIRNESS FOR OUR COMPASS

Fairness 4 isn't here to tell you what to think,

The Compass asks you to consider why you think it.

Before reacting:

What am I feeling?

Before judging:

What am I not considering?

Before blaming:

What shaped this conflict?

Before defending:

What am I protecting?

Before choosing:

Who will this choice affect?

And before carrying something forward:

Is it worth inheriting?

The Compass doesn't choose your direction,

YOU DO.

Choose your path
